Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) is a USDA initiative that aims to help farmers and ranchers access new market opportunities while implementing sound conservation practices. This investment directly finances projects that will help farmers and ranchers access new market opportunities.
Ready to enhance your organic production and marketing?
OEFFA, along with partners Marbleseed, Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, and OFARM, is looking for certified and transitioning to organic row and grain crop farmers who want to improve their organic practices.

These practices include (but are not limited to):
- Cover crop and conservation cover
- Residue and tillage management
- Conservation crop rotation
- Prescribed grazing
- Nutrient management
Participants will be compensated $9,565 per year and have access to technical assistance and marketing support.


Technical assistance
OEFFA provides transitional support to participating farmers, assisting in goal setting, crop planning, organic certification, and technical organic management, including crop rotations. OEFFA also offers educational workshops, farm tours, programs, and dedicated sustainable agriculture educators to support farmers.
