We will tour the farm and learn about: pasture management, fencing, regenerative practices, highland cattle, goats and hair sheep, freshening in sync with nature., goat herd management for parasite loads, and species specific livestock systems. 10:00: Orientation and welcome 10:30: Walking tour of farm 12:00: Walk ends with working dog explanation/demonstration and a meal! Menu: Burgers from the ranch! Directions: 39240 St. Route 56, Nelsonville Ohio 45764, at the corner of routes 278 and 56, be on the lookout from the farm sign and a mural. NOTE: Walking tour, low accessibility dress accordingly. PLEASE DO NOT BRING DOGS. Children permitted.
